Brotherhood meeting September 15, 1965. Called to order at 7:05 p.m.
The secretary and treasurer's report was given. Statement of Policies for the 1965-1966 academic year given by President Roger Crouse.
Report of the first VP. Mr. Tuttle said a few words on Camp Jolly.
Roger Crouse then mentioned that Adelphia decided to request that A Phi O nominate a girl for the Homecoming Queen. It was later decided to leave this business up to the executive board.
Report of the second VP. There will be a smoker on September 23 and 29th.
Report of the third VP. A few words mentioned on the banquet this spring.
The finance report was given by Larry Reinhardt. If Joe and Eddie and Swindle Singers perform homecoming, cost will be $3000 plus $325.10 for agent. The charge will be two dollars a ticket. If tickets are sold in the Student Union between eight and 4 p.m. sen organization will receive 5% of the gross receipts. Finance committee will investigate this 5%. One movie has been added to the original seven. All will be held in Mahar auditorium. Questions called on concert. Joe and Eddie and the Swindle Singers will perform.
New Business. Nominations were open for the Recording Secretary. Glenn More nominated. Nominated for Historian was Ralph Dumichelle..
Dave Greenstein talked about Loan Fund established by Harry Gibley. Motion made and tabled.
Norm Slutsky moved that Prescott Farris be given our best wishes as Cadet Colonel in the Air Force ROTC. Passed.
The following petitions the chapters were presented by Ed Skea and pased. Alabama A&M; Baldwin - Wallace College; University of Dubuque; West Carolina College.
Dave Arlen gave list of appointments to service committee. Campus Projects – P. Anderson; National Projects – D. Greenstein; International Projects - S. Pretanik; Community Projects – R. Mc Garrigle; Scouting – T. Pease; Student Convocation- P. Anderson; Football Rallies – G. Danials; Camp and GSS coordinator – D. Cafarelli; ushering- G. Dimock; Homecoming Parade- M. Kimmel; Tailgate Picnics – P. Mason.
The ex-report than given by Glenn Moore. Meeting adjourned at 8:17 p.m.
